We would like to invite you to hand in a press information folder for the press room which will be permanently opened for all media during Vakantiebeurs 2011. The experience learned that journalists decide which stands they visit based on the available information in the press room. You can decide on the content of the press information folder; think about bringing news in the form of press messages or illustrations.
Please send your press information folder with entry ‘Press information folder Vakantiebeurs 2011’ on the package to VNU Exhibitions, attn Ben de Jongh (press & PR), P.O. Box 8500, 3521 RV Utrecht, the Netherlands before the 29th of December. You can also hand in the press information folder at the pressroom (Entrance East) on the 28th of December 2009. The remaining press information folders can be retrieved on the last day of Vakantiebeurs 2011 an hour before the end of the fair. The resting materials will be thrown away. We also ask you to leave all your press information in the digital press room in the Catalogue Register. The press will see through all the information in this digital pressroom. This can bring you lots of free publicity.
The management and counter staff of travel agents, media and other similar organisations will be invited to come and find out about the latest developments and get to know the new products and services on offer within the trade. January 12th 2011 from 10.00 – 18.00 hours Vakantiebeurs is exclusively reserved for trade visitors and press.
But also throughout the entire Vakantiebeurs trade visitors are welcome to bring a visit to Vakantiebeurs. Invitation cards for the trade will be provided free of charge. You can recognize trade visitors by their special badges (distributed after registration). The visitor in question must be able to provide valid identity confirming his or her status as a trade-visitor, otherwise the invitation card will not be valid for a free visit to Vakantiebeurs.
Posters will be sent to all travel agencies in The Netherlands from whom we know the address. We ask them to pin up the poster in a prominent place. These will also be automatically sent to you at beginning of October 2009.

The ‘Vakantiebeurs Wegwijzer’ is the official guide for the successful travel exhibition ‘Vakantiebeurs’. This magazine is distributed by the exhibition organizers among visitors, with a total circulation of 120.000 copies. The magazine is the essential guide on Vakantiebeurs; it will contain maps of the exhibition area and the official schedule of events. Besides advertisement and advertorial possibilities, the publication will contain ‘coupons’ that consumers can tear out and use at your stand for an incentive of your choice, e.g. a prize draw or free gift.

Reisrevue Xtra – Vakantiebeurs edition
Reisrevue Xtra is published on a monthly base together with our leading Dutch weekly travel trade magazine Reisrevue. This special issue is dedicated to a specific destination or topic and is focused on increasing knowledge and making that destination top of mind with the Dutch travel trade. The Reisrevue Xtra is highly appreciated; most readers keep them as a reference guide. The ‘Reisrevue Vakantiebeurs edition’ will be dedicated to the Vakantiebeurs and will be send with the first edition the beginning of January. Besides our regular circulation of 10.000 copies, we will run a reprint of 8.000 copies that will be distributed at the trade day of the Vakantiebeurs.

Destination reports in the Vakantiebeurs Wegwijzer or Reisrevue Xtra
A destination report is an advertorial about your destination in the Wegwijzer Reisrevue and/or Xtra. A destination report is an excellent way to put all the options offered by your destination under the spotlight and highlight it to your target group. Destination reports are produced by our editorial team in close consultation with you. This allows you to be sure that the appropriate message is being delivered to the target group.
Coupons
Besides the regular advertising (1 or ½ page) we also offer the opportunity to place a coupon. These coupons are double-sided, are 1/8 page big and can be used to encourage more visitors to come to your stand. You could attract visitors by offering a small gift at your stand or by raffling a prize. In addition, the coupons are perfect for collecting e-mail addresses for Direct Mail activities in the future.
MyZoover is a social network within the sphere of travelling. Travellers keep one another informed about their travel preferences and experiences throughout the year. You can advertise within these specific profiles because of the fact that the travellers, themselves, create their own profiles. As a travel show exhibitor, you receive a 15% discount on all advertising rates. The Zoover database, the largest holiday assessment site in the Netherlands, will be used for MyZoover.
