Also this year we open the doors of the Vakantiebeurs for students and educational institutions. Come together with your class or education to find inspiration, discover the world of travel and hospitality, and meet professionals in the field. We are again using a special student rate on Thursday (January 8), so that the fair remains accessible to everyone.
Students have access to both Vakantiebeurs and Travel Trade Days. You register through Travel Trade Days and thus have access to both events.
Travel Talent Event
Are you a motivated student with an interest in the travel industry and curious about the opportunities the sector offers after you graduate? Who better to inform you about the opportunities than former students who have been active in the travel industry for several years? During the Travel Talent Event at the Vakantiebeurs, you can talk to young professionals from different positions and organizations in an interactive session.
These young professionals completed their studies a few years ago and will share their experiences in the travel industry during this event. They talk about their work experience, love for the industry and how to find your ideal job. You will get a unique insight into their personal experiences, the challenges they have overcome and the steps they have taken to get where they are today. And, of course, they'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Date: Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026.
Time: to be announced. There will be several 40-minute sessions that day for both college and MBO students.
Location: The Travel Talent Event will take place at the Jaarbeurs, in the Croeze Hall, during Vakantiebeurs and Travel Trade Days 2026. The entrance is between halls 8 & 7.

The Vakantiebeurs is a great opportunity for students & young professionals to immerse themselves in the world of travel and tourism. However, it is essential to be well prepared to get the most out of your visit. Here are some valuable tips to prepare for your trip to the fair:
Bring your CV
Put together your resume and take several printed copies with you. You never know when a great opportunity arises to speak with a potential employer or internship provider. Make sure your resume highlights your skills, education and any relevant experiences.
Research the exhibitors present
Take the time to study the list of exhibitors before you go to the trade show. This will give you insight into which companies and organizations are present and what opportunities they offer. Try to understand what types of internships, jobs or learning experiences they offer and which of these best suit your interests.
