The Travel Trade Day is all about professionals in tourism. Networking with colleagues, meeting new people from the tourism industry, gaining knowledge at the interesting sessions in the theaters and of course catching up with old acquaintances.

Opening Travel Trade Day
At 10h30 everybody is welcome to join the official opening of the Vakantiebeurs 2024! This will take place in hall 10 at the Dutch Travel Week Festival Main Stage. Don’t miss this festive moment, the start of 5 days full of inspiration!
Dutch Travel Week Festival MainStage
The Dutch Travel Week Festival MainStage can be found in Hall 10 and is completely built in festival atmosphere! On the big stage there are knowledge sessions by among others Klaas Dijkhoff from Sue & The Alchemist and Lieke Lamb from TrendWatcher.
Travel Trade Day drink
Of course, as usual, at the end of the day there will be the Travel Trade Day drinks at Speys restaurant, sponsored by TravMagazine-TravelPro. End this day with your fellow professionals while enjoying pleasant music, tasty drinks and delicious bites from 5 pm!
Travel Theater
Travel Theater is situated in hall 12 and is filled with engaging sessions. Of course the ANVR will be present as a speaker, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide an interesting session and Baja Bikes will tell you all about how to differentiate yourself through customer satisfaction.
Dutch Travel Week
Vakantiebeurs is part of the Dutch Travel Week. During the Dutch Travel Week, Utrecht will be ’the centre of the world’ for a week. Together with Utrecht Marketing and Utrecht entrepreneurs, many different activities, festivities and tours will be organised in Utrecht during the week of Vakantiebeurs.
Meeting Lounge
In hall 11 you will find the meeting lounge where you can meet with other professionals in the tourism industry. Make an appointment in advance by using the app so you will be sure that a table is reserved for you. Your table has the name of a country within one of the continents.
Red Online knowledge sessions
Experts from Red Online, the online marketing specialist in the travel and recreation industry, will provide multiple knowledge sessions in the Africa Theater. Get up to date about email automation, SEA, SEO, destination branding marketing and more!
Refueling at Sunny Cars
In hall 8 you will find delicious coffee, tea and smoothies provided by Sunny Cars. Take a moment to relax and refuel and have a little chat with the barista’s or other travel industry professionals!
